is about...
...not having reached the top of Rysy Peak, and about the time when I was writing my PhD thesis. The book doesn’t contain a sigle word, yet it illustrates the weariful state of being in a prolonged process of fierceful endevour which often entails tedious work and casues the goal to dissipate - like the rocky top of the mountain hiding in the clouds.
There is no beginning and no end to this book. There is, however a photo of me climbing up to the top which appears on every page as repetetive mantra or a magic spell. The book is hand-binded and I hand-gilded its back. Altogether it is about an object, and about attending to the process, unveiling stubborness and exposing aporia.

...jak nie weszłam na Rysy i jak pisałam doktorat. Jest o tym, jak to jest, gdy robi się coś, co wymaga intensywnego wysiłku i żmudnej pracy,
i wszystko to trwa bardzo długo – cel zaczyna się rozpływać, przestaje być widoczny jak skalisty wierzchołek góry ukryty w chmurze.
Jest to książka-obraz. W środku znajduje się jedno zdjęcie. Widać na nim jak wspinam się szczyt góry. Obraz powtarza się na każdej stronie – jest jak mantra. Książka nie ma początku ani końca, nie zawiera również ani jednego słowa. Zszyłam ją własnoręcznie, i własnoręcznie pozłociłam jej grzbiet. Książka-obraz konfrontująca upór i aporię.
